CBD Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
Who doesn’t like chocolate peanut butter cups? These are surprisingly simple to make with just a few pantry ingredients that you probably already have on hand, along with the newest addition of our full-spectrum CBD Milk Chocolate. Indeed, you can make these peanut butter cups faster than a trip to the corner market to buy Reese’s. And it’s simple to switch up the recipe by using a different nut butter such as cashew or almond.
 Ingredients:
- 12 oz Bees Knees CBD Milk Chocolate
- 5 tbsp coconut oil, divided
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup peanut butter
- ¼ cup honey
- Sea salt or peanut topping (optional)
Directions:
- Mix 3 tablespoons of coconut oil and the CBD milk chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue microwaving and stirring at 30-second intervals until melted.
- Stir in the vanilla until the chocolate mixture is smooth and pourable.
- Pour ½ of the chocolate mixture evenly about 1/3 of the way up the sides of mini silicone molds with paper liners (or mini muffin tins with paper liners). Place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Mix the remaining 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, peanut butter, and honey in another microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue microwaving and stirring at 30-second intervals until the peanut butter mixture is smooth and pourable.
- Pour the peanut butter mixture evenly over the chocolate in the molds, leaving enough room for the other layer of chocolate. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Pour the remaining chocolate mixture evenly over the peanut butter in the molds, filling all the way up to rims. Place in the freezer for 1 hour or until set.
- Pop the peanut butter cups out of the molds and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Garnish with flaky sea salt or finely chopped peanuts.
- Makes 24 servings.
